Hi! My name is Rohanna Ssanyu Delossantos. I am a black, biracial, and diasporan writer born in Fairbanks to a mother from Kampala and father from southwest Missouri. I often write about the complexities of identity, motherhood, and memory. I hold an MFA from Albertus Magnus College, as well as degrees from Southern Connecticut State University and George Washington University. I live in Connecticut with my husband and children. I teach history in New Haven.Â
My chapbook The Marabou Who Crossed the Sea is forthcoming from Harbor Editions in 2026.
